The University of Mississippi will install a new chancellor on Nov. 10, 2016. Jeffrey S. Vitter will be formally sworn in as chancellor during a 3 p.m. investiture ceremony in the Gertrude C. Ford Center for the Performing Arts. The inauguration’s theme, selected by Chancellor Vitter and reflecting an area of deep commitment is “The Power of Higher Education to Transform Lives, Communities, and the World.”
